The Story Behind Alwaysreadingtheroom

My name is Shaan and I am a mum of two young boys. Becoming a parent has changed my life drastically, as it does for the majority of new parents. I have found out lots of things about myself since I have become a mother. Kids truly reflect your own true nature and they urge you to work on becoming a better person, every single day. 

Alwaysreadingtheroom initially started off as a concept for me to express myself authentically by writing, without holding back. I am a highly sensitive individual, constantly tapping into other people's energies and thus always reading the room. Both of my children are also highly sensitive. My oldest has been confirmed gifted. After finding this out, the numerous similarities and puzzle pieces fell into place for myself. It has brought me closer to accepting myself and embracing my different way of viewing things. 

My children and my own train of thought jointly form the primary source of inspiration for the products that I design for Alwaysreadingtheroom. You can find a range of items for adults and kids with a minimalist style and a sometimes messages which will ring true if you're not the average type.
